Airport facilities in Zambia

Question

We will have a 3 hour wait at Lusaka airport between flights in May. What facilities are there please? Is there anywhere comfortable to sit?(I have a bad back). Is there a cafe/restaurant?

    There is a coffee stand with lots of seating right in the middle of the airport entrance hall which seems to be the most popular place for people to wait. There’s also a restaurant upstairs but I’ve never been in it.

    Many tour operators use a meet and greet service and they also have an office upstairs with a waiting area. Sometimes it’s the camps that provide this sometimes it’s the tour operator. Lusaka airport is pretty basic, but it’s light, airy and not too busy. 3 hours isn’t all that long to kill.
