I am planning to visit Botswana with my family this year, Have seen great trips from different tour operators, But I have a Question, Are these trips suitable for children?

Safari options are definitely suitable for children as young as 6 (12 on set departures) in Botswana. Please note that this depends on the child and is the responsibility of the parents to determine whether this type of program is suitable for their child.
There are long drives on Safari (sometimes lasting 6-8 hours) and the roads can be very rough. Some accommodations will not accept young children, so speak to your trip planner to find appropriate programs.
