  1. If you are coming back to Tanzania for the first time, and want to do all these National Parks, you better get a driver or a guide for the comfortable and enjoyable Safari! that doesn’t mean you cant do it on your own, you can but it is an adventure in itself…..
You need a regular or extended Land rover or Land cruiser vehicles, depending on the size of your party. The vehicles must be 4FWD, with plenty of space, and a pop-up photographic roof hatch (Good for photos and experience). Windows can all be opened.

You do not need an air condition. Air conditioning simply does not work on safari – the drives in national parks are too rough and dusty, and the system does not work. In any case air conditioning is not necessary – the vast majority of the time you will have the large roof hatch open, spotting animals, and all the windows open to let cool air in.
For a comfortable ride the vehicle should feature the following:

    • Hardtop Photographic Rooftop (to provide sun protection)
    • Seat Belts
    • Cooler Box (bottled water provided)
    • First Aid Kit
    • Radio Communication
    • Binocular
    • Animals & Birds Handbook
    • Coffee & tea basket
    • Spare tyres
    • Guaranteed window seats

    Extras:

    • Entrance aid (on request)
    • Seats for children of all ages
    • Three point seats belts for children
    • Guaranteed window seats
    • Seats for children of all ages
    • Inverters and power sockets
