Bus from Mwanza to Kampala

Question

I live in Kasulu and would like to go to Jinja in late December. Which bus services operate from Mwanza to Kampala or Jinja, and how can I book them? Please also let me know if you would recommend a particular company. Is the bus a better option than the ferry?

    There’re plenty of busses from Mwanza to Kampala. Friends Bus is a major transport provider between Mwanza and Kampala.

    Or you can board a shuttle matatu (daladala) from Mwanza to Bukoba and from there you’ll get many shuttles heading Kampala/Entebbe.
