Getting a tourist visa for 180 Days
Question
I am going to Kenya as a tourist and plan to use up all of my 90 days there, But I am also interested on checking other things, including visits friends, is it possible to stay for 6 months?

It is very possible, but make sure you do not breach the conditions of your visa, it is a tourist visa!
Go to the Foreigners Section of the Immigration Department in Nairobi, Mombasa or Kisumu must before your 90 days are up. You can extend your entry permit for up to 90 more days. It is straightforward and should cost 2,200 shillings
(When you initially enter the country ask them to grant you an entry permit for the full 90 days, they often default to 1 month these days)
