Kenya and Tanzania Best time for Migration

Question

I and my family are planning our July/ August 2021 for 3 1/2 weeks Safari to Kenya and Tanzania. It is our first trip. We’ll begin with 4 days in Masai Mara, then head down to Tanzania. Given drought & climate change, should we begin in mid July or early August?

Both July and August are the busiest months of the year with lot of tourists on both Masai Mara and Serengeti Park.

Migration mostly do start from early July to End of October with highlights of wildebeest migrations being those 2 month of the year.

In covering Kenya and Tanzania, You can go through the Migration route starting Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti- Ngorongoro and end with Amboseli on the foot of Kilimanjaro Africa highest Mountain.
