Layover in Kilimanjaro airport

Question

We will be in Mt Killamanjaro Airport for 8 hrs. in July. Any suggestions for what we could do to kill the time? Places to eat? Thanks

    It depends on the time of day but in your position I would go to Planet Lodge (Airport) d relax. Have a meal. It is a nice new Hotel, which has all services, including shower for only $10. They will even put on a shuttle for you to/from the airport if asked. Again depending on time of day I might even take a room to sleep or freshen up.
