Ngorongoro Crater too crowded

Question

I read a review saying the Crater was more like a wildlife park and that at one time there were 45 cars in line to see one Rhino.Is that true? It’s an expensive and time-consuming journey to get there and maybe we should just spend more time in Kenya?

Any advice or thoughts?

    Yeah it can be crowded always has been or can be tends what time of year and time of day. But it is still worth it.It is an iconic destination well worth the visit.
    <and maybe we should just spend more time in Kenya?:
    If your going to Kenya because of the crowds in Ngorongoro I would think Kenya will be busier and more crowded especially around the iconic (so called) wildlife hot spots.
