Thinking of doing Safari in September/October for big birthday and 25th wedding anniversary with husband and 12 year old son.

We LOVE hiking. Would you wonderful trip advisor people weigh in on whether or not we should do Ngorongoro Rim or Empakaai Hike? We’re working with a budget and I know this would be an expensive outing as it necessitates an armed guard. However, we’re not interested in a balloon ride or other such day outings.
