One Night Stay in Dar es Salaam

Hi! We are a family of 9 and we’re staying for one night in Dar before starting our safari. We will arrive on a Sunday midday/afternoon in January and our flight to Arusha will be at around 6pm the following day. We would like to spend that day getting to know the main parts of Dar es Salaam. Where do you recomend us to book a hotel? Which area?

You can surely do a city tour, later the driver will drop you at the airport. Visiting Kigamboni may take a long time, so you better stay in the city center and have fun. There are a hundred hotels in town. Just say your budget and we will recommend one for you. Though if its within you budget I recommend you book the Holiday Inn hotel in Central Dares salaam which will give you an opportunity to walk around the town.
