Private safari tours vs. set itinerary tours

Should we try to get a safari company to organize a private trip for my family of 4(young adult children and parents) or should we just go with a set package? Is this more money or less safe/ reliable? I have been reading about parks not included in many of the tours. We want to go to northern Tanzania and see not only animals but culture. We don’t need high end accommodations and would like to go to hike at Mount Kilimanjaro.

By going with a private safari you will be able to tailor it to your needs, start in the morning when you want to begin, and end in the evening when you wish. And if something happens in route you will be free to change things. It will be much more comfortable for you to go with a private safari, and see the things you wish to see.
