Rent or buy snorkeling gear

Question

We are planning to visit sharm El sheikh and doing a few water activities and day trips. Would anyone know whether it would be cheaper to buy a snorkeling set for ourselves or rent them per day?

    Hi

    I would personally purchase your own snorkeling set before you arrive in Sharm-el-sheikh as you don’t wanna be wearing someone else’s mask for hygiene purposes, people sneeze in them and spit to clean them, etc..Also especially with the current Covid-19 I wouldn’t chance wearing someone else’s Equipment.

    Plus the costs will be better as you don’t have to rent every time you snorkel!
