Select between western and central Serengeti
Question
I intend to travel between July-August 2021 to the serengiti. Prefer to split 2 nights inserengiti North and 2 nights in Serengiti west/ central. The current picks for my accommodation are TWC properties.
Would like to select Kati Kati migration camp / Mara Mara migration in northern Serengiti; Lahia tented Lodge or Kubu Kubu camp in central / western Serengiti.
Kindly advise the pro’s vs cons of the resorts and convenience to explore the serengitti to for wildlife sightings.
Which would be better selection to view the cheetah and leopard??

Northern serengeti totally different landscape rolling hills, river mara, kuria hill kopje compare to central Serengeti more short grassland, seronera river to kopjes in Maasai kopjes, barafu toward Namiri plain
I would suggest Northern serengeti for great migration as well big chance to see big five and Central Serengeti for big cats as well residents animals,
You should stick with the central Serengeti as there are abundant of animals including cats which can easily be seen towards namiri plain. There is a lot of accommodation in the centre as you mentioned Kubu Kubu luxury tented lodge which is really nice.
Two nights are worth staying in the center as well as two nights staying at northern Serengeti for wildebeest migrations mara river crossing exploring. Staying at mara mara luxury tented lodge overlooking hippo pool (If is within your budget).
