The day AFTER your climb
How did you feel the day after you finished? I’m asking because I’m trying to figure out how to plan more time in East Africa. Will I be up for another physically active day? Or will I be sore and need time to rest/recover?
I’ve done longer and more intense hikes in less time and after a few days of 15-30 mile walks, I’m usually ready for a day off my feet. Kilimanjaro is different, so I don’t know what to expect. Can I just jump into action the next morning, or will I need time to recover from the trek?
