Transfers between Jomo Kenyatta and Nairobi

Hi all

These questions have probably been asked umpteen times but I can find no recent posts.I am not in a tour group.What is the approximate price for a taxi fare from Jomo Kenyatta airport to Nairobi Wilson? and should you pay in Kenya shillings or US dollars?

I will have a 9.30 am return flight to the UK from Jomo Kenyatta…. any suggestions for a clean comfy hotel that is a fairly easy run to the airport..

    From JKIA to Wilson will cost you Ksh2,000 ($20). For hotels you can book either Crown Plaza or Four Points by Sheraton which are around 2km from arrivals or Hilton Garden Inn which is around 4kms. Transfer to the hotel will cost you $5 and to Hilton Garden Inn will be $10.
