If you follow every advice from your Dr and your host in Africa, the chance are almost zero (I have been in tourism for 30 years, only one person got Malaria, she was from Italia and didn’t take her medication!
But, they say “The crude risk for travelers to different regions varied from 1 per 100,000 travelers to Central America and the Caribbean to 357 per 100,000 in central Africa”
