    Tanzania cradles 120 ethnic groups, inclusive of people who have migrated from other parts of Africa and traders from afar, who have established their roots into the country from as early as the 8th century.
    The country has been shifted through the hands of many, starting with the Portugese after the arrival of Vasco de gama, followed by the Germans, and then the British. In 1961, the lands breathed independence. Tanzania was formed in 1964 and has been under the rule of the same political party ever since.
