    Main suitcase packing list for Tanzania Safari (Recommended):

    • #1. Light jacket
    • #2. raincoat that will fit over the light jacket
    • #3. 2 short sleeve t-shirts
    • #4. 2 long sleeve t-shirts (preferably button down that will fit over your t-shirts. Layering is key on early morning game drives)
    • #5. 2 pair long pants (zip off preferred, which you can buy at outdoor stores. Again, early morning game drives start chilly and then get hot. Be prepared by layering)
    • #6. 2 pair shorts
    • #7. one pair pajamas – lightweight
    • #8. Sun hat or visor
    • #9. 3 pair socks
    • #10. underwear
    • #11. one pair sandals
    • #12. one pair sneakers or casual close toed shoes
    • #13. two sundresses (for females – especially if you are going to Zanzibar or another island after your safari)
    • #14. one nice button down and khakis (for men)
