Answer ( 1 )
1. Namibia
If sand dunes sound exciting, then check out the deserts of Namibia. Ancient rock engravings found at Twyfelfontein provide a day of art and imagination originating more than 6,000 years ago. When kids have had enough of the sand and sandstone rock, explore a variety of bird species all over Namibia, including Etosha National Park and Waterberg Plateau.
2. Mozambique
Mozambique offers amazing beaches, unique wildlife and nature parks. The capital of Maputo is a beautiful city with great restaurants, stores and and streets lined with native jacaranda trees. Other must-see destinations include renowned attractions like Bazaruto Archipelago and Beguerra Island.
3. Kenya
Kenya is an East African jewel with an amazing cross-section of urban, rural, remote and metropolis vacation options. One of the most culturally immersive experiences for adults and kids alike is exploring traditions of the Maasai people, a nomadic people in southern Kenya known for their customs and dress. And of course, going on a safari is a must while in Kenya.
4. South Africa
Kruger National Park is a South African wildlife park that allows your family to experience animals in their natural habitat. As one of Africa’s largest game reserves, there are hundreds of birds and mammals to see. Many people have been lucky enough to see four of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and Cape buffalo) in a single day!
5. Tanzania
When looking for a vacation in Africa that your kids will never forget, Tanzania is a great choice. This country is known for its wilderness: from the plains of the Serengeti to the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain. Families can get ready for a safari like none other when visiting its vast game reserves.
6. Botswana
This country is known both for the arid Kalahari Desert and for its lush wetlands. It is one of the greatest safari destinations in Africa and incidentally, Botswana has more elephants than any other country in the world. While you can explore the wildlife through a traditional land safari, you might also want to consider taking a river cruise instead. You’ll be able to get a completely different view of the animals along the river, including elephants, hippos, and a large variety of birds.
