Tanzania Awesome Safari | 2021 Travel Report
I just thought I’d share this – we’ve just finished a seven day trek climbing to the summit of Kilimanjaro followed by an eight day tented tour of the northern parks including Arusha National Park, Tarangire NP, Lake Manyara NP, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Serengeti NP and Lake Natron. Anyone who tells you that you need to rich to do this has no idea – we’ve done it on the cheap and it’s been superb. Probably our best holiday ever. Tanzania is now my favorite destination. Hello fellow travelers!!
About to head out to Tanzania (Arusha area) for a week of safari June 15-24th.
Any recommendation for specific local things that we MUST try, would be much obliged. e.g. local festivals, hole in the wall local cuisine or bbq we should try or a local farmer/meat/fish market we should go to would be great.
I hear fishing in-land (not coastal) is NOT possible in Tanzania, is this true?
