You might have some information about Tanzania like: Serengeti Migration, Ngorongoro, Kilimanjaro, I mean the attractions of Tanzania that shout around the World, but be informed that, there are so much in Tanzania than the big National Parks … it is important to have a mixture of Wildlife, Cultural, Beach and even a Day Hike to Kilimanjaro!
It is expensive to Travel to Tanzania, and this is my advice, if you plan to visit Tanzania, plan it well, and have enough days. For the people comes to Tanzania for the first time, and have limited number of Days, I advice to have a minimum of 10 days to be explore Tanzania well, can you do less than 10? yes, and you will enjoy, but if you real plan to come, with all the cost of flight, make minimum of 10 days.

If you just want to do a rush program, there are so many reputable Tour Operators that can give you a showcase itineraries, pick one, pay and there you go, but I can assure you that you are missing out a lot!

Cost of Safari:
Once you know about your time limitation, now we are in the second part, which is the cost, I would like to let you know that you will get what you are paying for, may be less. And most of tour operators might give you itineraries that will give them more profit. For Example I dont know how you drive all the way to Serengeti and Spend one night? Doesn’t make any sense to me.
Mainly there are three types of Cost that are involved in your Safari: Park Fee, Accomodation and Transport (Game drive which includes the driver cost). Be informed that you can be aware of all these costs on your own through online search, that’s why I normally say that a Traveller can 100% know the reality of his/her Safari based on the price they pay! You can be overpriced or underpriced easily (All these come with negative impact)
NOTE: Whether you do Luxury or Budget, it has nothing to do with the experience but mainly a comfort at night, as well as flight to and from Serengeti may be, but I would advice even if you do budget, ask for a comfortable vehicle, because this has 100% impact to your Safari Experience. You can email us for specifics about Safari Vehicle.
I will just give you an idea of cost as a guideline, All inclusive cost airport to airport Service:
- Basic Camping: Price between: $180 – $300 per person per day.
- Budget Accommodation: Price between: $350 – $400 per person per day.
- Luxury lodges & Tented Camps $480-580 per person per day.
- Luxury + : $800 – $900 per person per day.
- Luxury + Extra – $1000 – $2500 per person per day.
Above is just an idea of cost, should you need specific information, you can ask us to assist you with that, ASK or talk to email us about that and we will be happy to help for free.
Tour Operator:
There are so many reliable tour operators in and outside Tanzania. And you can have information about them at a finger trip. I live in Tanzania and I know so many local companies which do very well in tourism. First I would advise you to get their information online …. Search their companies and this should be the first filtration.
Try to talk to the people who have written their recommendations online, if possible try to call a few that stay near you or those you can reach. Let them recommend the guides they use, and be sure to ask the tour operator availability of the guide, because a guide plays a serious role in your Safari Experience.
